Students in grades 4-12 (in classrooms sponsored by DWP) are invited to enter the Student Art Contest that celebrates 100 years of bringing water to the city of Los Angeles, and promotes water saving behaviors. First, Second, and Third place prize winners will be chosen from each grade, plus a Grand Prize winner will have their artwork published in a Los Angeles Times recognition ad. Teachers of first-place student winners will also receive a $100 Visa prepaid card.
Each entry must be accompanied by the entry form. Additional requirements are stated on the entry form which can be found on the Los Angeles Times in Education (NIE) website under the “Contests” heading. http://nieonline.com/latimes/contests.cfm
All entries must be delivered or postmarked by February 28, 2013.
